Product Details
This scarf is a great stash-buster, use 100g of any wool or acrylic mix 4ply, DK or aran yarn in your stash! Choose to tie it at the neck, fix it with a shawl pin or add buttons to secure the ends. As the scarf is worked from the bottom tip up, the triangular shape is there from the very beginning. There is no danger of running out of yarn before you achieve the correct shape. Just keep working until you have no yarn left! If you have more than 100g of your chosen yarn, you can keep working for a bigger, warmer scarf.
This pattern is aimed at improving beginners and beyond. It uses the basic UK chain, half treble, treble and double treble crochet stitches (US Chain, half double, double and treble). Both US and UK versions of the pattern are included. Detailed pictorial guides for more inexperienced crocheters are also provided.
Use odds and ends of the same weight and fibre content for a striped scarf, or use a yarn cake and have no ends to sew in!
