This lightweight, airy cowl was originally designed as part of a craft collaboration with Boston based indie dyer Lady Dye Yarns for Women’s History Month 2019.
It takes just one hank of fingering weight yarn and contrasts giant lace eyelets with slanted lacy stripes and slip stitches. The sample shown was knitted in Lady Dye Yarns’ bestselling colourway Wingaersheek which guarantees lots of denim blue and chestnut ‘pops’ on an ecru background. For those of you who prefer, this design would also work well in any 4ply weight yarn - solid colour, subtle or bright as you like. Quantiies shown are based on the original yarn, if using a different brand play safe and buy extra. You can always make your cowl longer!
