Product Details
Inspiration for the Evergrey Mitts came from the silver needles of a blue spruce (Picea pungens). The cuffs are worked using a lace-and-twisted-stitch rib that reminded me of a forest floor covered with fallen needles. The back of the hand is adorned with a cabled spruce motif encased in a medallion of twisted stitches.
The mitts are worked in the round cuff up using either double-pointed needles or magic loop. Left and right mitts can be worked two-at-a-time.
The pattern is written with both metric and US terminology. Both written and charted instructions are given for the stitch patterns.
Gauge: 30 sts × 42 rnds = 10 cm / 4" in reverse stockinette
