Product Details
This ankle sock was inspired by my favorite pair of running socks. It offers support, cushioning, and practically. The Every Day Sock is my go to favorite sock for whatever I have planned for the day. The arch support is extremely comfortable, and the padded heel avoids protects the wearer's foot in high back shoes.
The pattern includes full written instructions, plus pictures to help along the way. It is sized from toddler through men's large.
This sock is included in the book Farmhouse Socks.

I love the finished look to these socks. My stash of leftover sock yarn is being used to create fun socks that look great and are comfortable to wear.
I’ve knitted socks, toe-up, for years and prefer this. There’s no real casting on and I use the short row technique for my heel. I knit on five needles until I’m a few rows past the final number of stitches for my sock and then use a circular. I cast off very loosely using my largest needle. I used your general pattern but had to change a lot. I’ve attached a photo of them both. Thank you for this pattern. I learned a lot and even more when I made my own. There was a lot of tearing out and reknitting!
