Product Details
This rectangular shawl or stole features horizontal Garter stitch stripes on a Stockinette stitch background and dropped stitch “eyes.” I named the shawl after H.P. Lovecraft's (one of my favorite authors!) short story "Dagon."
This pattern is a pretty minimal (yet striking) one aside from the “eye” design and is perfect for highlighting the inherent beauty of hand-dyed yarns like Bugga! from Cephalopod Yarns. You'll need just one skein of Bugga! to make this shawl. The colorways, softness and quality of this yarn are amazing and well worth it. I used the colorway Merveille du Jour Moth for the shawl in the photos.
The finished shawl measures approximately 37.5” x 11” and the pattern contains instructions on how to make it longer if you wish.
