Product Details
The Winter to Summer Sweater is knitted top-down, with a slightly oversized drape in body and sleeves. It has two fades: upper one (the small fade) and lower one (the big fade) and a colorwork - meaning you will need a couple of fading colors and one contrast color of the same palette, or combine the lightest and the darkest fade color in a colorwork. You can also do a reverse fade, or two different fades up and down. This is a scrap yarn project. Have fun!
Both Charts: Winter (selbu branches) and Summer (flowers) are included in the pattern.
Yarn quantity About 1200m (1450yd) of fingering weight yarn - colors and length of your choice, this is a scrap yarn project. For size L and the Summer Version I used app 1/2 hank of Merino Singles of both, CC4 and CC3, about 1 1/4 of CC1 and 1 full hank of CC2. For the Winter Version, size XL, I used almost 3 full hanks of CC1, CC2, and CC3, and 1/4 hank of CC4
