Product Details
This drawstring bag is worked in Stranded Knitting. The purpose of the detailed instructions is to teach how to knit on the right side and purl on the wrong side in Continental stranded knitting. To learn these methods, the bag must be knitted flat (back and forth). If you prefer to work the bag in the round, there are additional instructions for that method in the pattern, and you will need an extra skein of either teal or yellow.
Featured Techniques: Working with purl garter stitch, working with two yarns in the left hand, yarn dominance, simple two-color designs and complex two-color designs (right side and wrong side), corrugated ribbing (on the right side and the wrong side), twisting a cord. Lots of photos accompany the directions.
Yarn: I used Rauma Strikkegarn, but any firm DK weight yarn will work.
Size: One size, approximately 11" (28 cm) wide, 3.5" (9 cm) deep, and 11.5" (29 cm) tall.
