The Gothic Foil Arch is elegant and strong, often over a gate or window in a wall, enticing to the promise of a secret garden inside or peering out to the forest beyond. These were the inspriation for this shawl, a structure surrounded by mystery and foilage. Welcome to the Falling Leaves Shawl!
This is a pattern for a triangular shawl. It is worked from the top down. There are about 600 beads beginning in Clue 2 and 4 rows with, optional, nupps. 3 skeins are recommended for the large size triangle, but can vary with knitting style (2 skeins may be enough on 3.5mm needles) - you know yourself best! ** info on yardage**: **Sample knit used 204 grams of Fairy Silk Sock, on 3.5 mm needles, and gauge of: 24 sts x 34 rows = 4”/10cm unblocked stockinette, for the 2 panel triangle shape.
