Product Details
This pattern was designed after a third long week of my son being sick. My hands were too tired to hold any smaller knitting needles. So 2 stands of worsted weight yarn, U.S. size 17 knitting needles and 5 hot pads later it was time to write the pattern out. My only caution for this pattern is to hold the 2 strands securely together otherwise you will be tinking. This is a great pattern to knit when exhausted.
Gauge: Before felting there are 9 stitches and 16 rows per 4 inches.
Supplies: 2 skeins of Lamb’s Pride Worsted (Not Super Wash Wool) 85% Wool 15%Mohair contrasting colors. You may also use any other Lamb’s Pride Worsted Wool. U.S. Size 17 (12.0 mm) knitting needles Darning needle
You may use any other feltable worsted weight wool, bulky wool or super bulky wool. If you use a wool other than Lamb's Pride worsted you will need to use needle size on yarn times 2 to get the right size needle, unless the yarn calls for 17
You may have to use other felting styles to get similar results.
