Beautiful knit sweater in a charming combination of Garter stitch and lace sleeves. This is variation of my easier Alaska Dream sweater.
This ultra feminine Fern sweater is worked in the round with circular needles, bottom up as far as the armholes. Then the front and back pieces are finished separately, back and forth on the needle. The sleeves are worked back and forth top-down. The neck is worked in the round with circular needles. The pieces are sewn together to finish. Because of the weight of the yarn and knitting style this sweater stretches well.
