What you'll need
Product Details
Top off your favorite fisherman's sweater ... or your favorite tee shirt ... with this cozy neck warmer. The slip-stitch waffle rib is reversible and dense, and the cable edging allows the cowl to hug the neckline beautifully.
Fisherman's Cowl is worked flat in one piece from side to side, and grafted or seamed to form a cylinder - wider at the base, narrower at the top. This shaping doesn't require short rows, but is a natural result of the difference in row gauges between the waffle stitch and the cable.
Gauge: 17 sts = 4" (10 cm) in waffle rib.
Techniques: Cables, slip-stitch (brioche-style) waffle stitch, provisional cast on, grafting.
Pattern includes: Written instructions, glossary.
