I have knitted a number of fluffy owl babies for a charity sale. Some I left open for Creme Eggs, although I added a couple of rows and closed the bottom slightly to fit the eggs better and stop the eggs slipping out too easily. The others I followed the pattern, but stuffed and added feet so they could stand up. They are quick and easy to knit either way.
