A thirteenth-century bestiary volume provided the inspiration for this elaborate-looking accessory set. Much is unknown about the manuscript, including its talented scribe, but it is of Franco-Flemish origin and the author is Hugo of Fouilloy.

The earband is one size: 4.5" x 23.5" - multiple buttons and buttonholes make it adjustable to the wearer's head circumference, from 18" to 22.5".
Sizes shown are small cowl and medium mittens.
