Product Details
Using four different colours of Rooster Almerino (or any other Aran yarn), these are four distinct patterns for fair-isle hats.
Each hat is unique, and features a different fair-isle pattern and distinct design.
The Custard coloured hat is the smallest (by which I mean closest to the head), the Smoothie and Sugared Almond a little larger, and the Lilac Sky has the tallest dome.
They can be worn pushed back and long, or pulled down and rolled up.
You will need 100g of each colour to knit all four hats and will have enough to make a fifth at the end of it; 4mm and 5mm circular needles (I used the magic loop method); and a tapestry needle to sew in the ends.
To make one hat, you will need around 25g of each colour.
Gauge: 20 stitches and 26 rows per 10cm
