Product Details
This hat is my attempt at a reproduction of the archaeoligical drawing of a Bronze Age pottery food vessel found at an Irish excavation site. I used locally produced alpaca yarn held together with a strand of silk mohair, but any fingering weight yarn is suitable. I would recommend this knit to intermediate knitters, as knit, purl and cable stitches are used, and the edge is finished with an i-cord; the hat is knitted top-down. The hat can be knitted in 1 colour, but instructions are provided for 2 colours which shows up the pattern differently.
