They can be used to dress up a bland pot containing a plant, or even a container used to hold pens, toothbrushes, flowers, anything! I have my plants planted in a plastic pot which sits inside a plain ceramic planter. This then sits snugly inside the crocheted cosy. That way the cosy won’t become damaged from water leakage.
