Product Details
A shawlette to celebrate friendship – there are flowers, hearts and lots of love knitted into it... Designed for two good friends – known and valued for a long time.
This is allover lace that is not excessively challenging. There are no nupps or beads and all the lace is made with simple increases and decreases. All wrong side rows are purled.
The pattern is written for shawlettes of similar size in 2 ply laceweight and 4 ply fingering – choose whichever you prefer. However the size can be easily altered to make a bigger shawl if you wish.
The 2 ply laceweight shawlette sample in dark blue used 3.5 mm needles and took 410m of yarn (one ball of Knitpicks Shadow lace). The 4 ply fingering shawlette in mid blue used 4 mm needles and took 350m of Cascade heritage sock yarn (less than one 100gm ball).
