Frost Crystals Tam

This blue and white adult sized tam is knitted with the stranded or fair-isle technique, never more than two colors per row. The pattern describes how the wheel on the top can be knit with 96 size 6/0 Czech glass beads knitted into it to lend a chill to the Frost Crystal design. Less than an ounce each of blue, white, gray and red fingering weight wool are required. Kits are available through our website.

Yarn packs for Mrs Knitter Designs patterns are available through the Mrs Knitter Designs website www.mrsknitterdesigns.com. Variations in gauge can be made to purposely personalize the hat size. The hat can be a tam by blocking on a plate rather than a bowl when finished.
