Product Details
This is a pattern for fingerless mitts. They measure approximately 4- 5 inches from your thumb up your arm. They feature both a lace stitch pattern on your forearm, with a ribbing center on the underside for both shaping and a lack of slippage when worn. The focal stitch is both charted and written out 'line by line". The mitts also have a thumb gusset that will insure the best fit, and allow you to text, type and knit in style and warmth at the same time. One size fits most, as a result of the lateral give, but there are tips for changing the size within each pattern. These mitts are made using two circular needles, and a heavy weight sock yarn. They require under 1 skein of most socks yarns. The "fuzzy-ness" is created by carrying one strand of Mohair Silk lace yarn, such as Aloft or Kid Silk Haze with the sock yarn.
