Its getting even colder here in England so I'm designing lots of hat knitting patterns to keep you extra warm this winter. This is my Garter Stitch Balaclava and Beanie hat knitting pattern, yes you can wear it either as a balaclava or beanie. I chose Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk dk which is absolutely divine but it can also be knitted in any dk yarn of your choice.The knitting pattern covers sizes XS,S,M & L so can be made for anyone from babies to adults and it takes less than 100g whichever size you choose to make.
