Product Details
Wintertime calls for something sweet and maybe a bit spicy. Gingerbread is a family favorite and inspired these girly mittens. This pattern is for an advanced beginner to intermediate knitter who is comfortable knitting from charts. There are instructions, with pictures, for Swiss darning.
Materials needed: 50 grams each of two contrasting colors in yarn that's suitable for colorwork such as Jamieson's Shetland Spindriff. Optional: Approximately 127cm/50" of contrasting yarn for swiss darning over the Gingerbread Girl's "buttons."
2.25mm/US size 1 needles in your preference for working small circumferences, or size needed to obtain gauge. Adjust needle size and gauge to fit mitten to your hand. One stitch marker and a darning needle
