Some yarns not only do not need fancy stitch patterns to show off but actually look more beautiful without them.
This elegantly stylish scarf features double bands of eyelets moving across a stocking stitch background, like the path of an ice skater cutting deep edges to gain speed and then gliding effortlessly across a rink.
To make a longer scarf or to maximise the yarn usage more centre pattern repeats can be worked. Each extra repeat will add just over 2”/5 cm to the length.
