Product Details
This asymmetric triangle shawl has been designed to trace the path of the Great Ocean Road in Australia. It uses slipped stitches, cables, and garter stitch to create variety in the knitting. The pattern itself is basically a two-row repeat so it’s great for mindless knitting.
The different textures represent the sand and the waves while the cable stitches are the direction of the road. The yarn I used is a combination of sandy peach, sky blue and white, which in combination brings out all the beach-worthy colours. Where the blue intersects with the sandy peach there is a green for the ocean depths.
