Product Details
This is a pattern for a cabled shawl.
This shawl is knitted with sport weight yarn. The shawl is approximately 18 inches x 74 inches, and requires approximately 1000 - 1100 yards. The focal cable stitch is a little known Aran cable, but is unique and “textured” enough to stand on it’s own. It’s actually a double cable.

The shawl is warm enough to take you through 3 seasons, even though it was knit with sport weight yarn, specifically Arroyo (in colorway Peachy) by Malabrigo.
The stitches are both charted and written out, however it is always helpful if you can refer to a chart.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of cabling .
There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border. However, this is the ONLY crochet in the pattern.
It was knit on 2 circular needles.
Any sport weight yarn will work for this pattern. No crochet hooks needed if you don't want to edge the shawl.
