Now that I have your attention with the pattern’s silly name, I guarantee that you will create an adorable, whimsical winter hat for your little one, whether or not you choose to include the yarn twists that spill out from the decorative holes (a.k.a. grommets).
Thanks to super bulky yarn, the basic hat really does work up in under one hour.
Feel free to substitute yarns, perhaps diving into your stash for the colorful DK twists. Since this is a baby hat, it's best to choose soft and washable fibers.
A nice finishing touch would be to hand-stitch a strip of thin, colorful fleece to the inside circumference -- covering all those cut ends.
