This sock is covered in glittering detail-- twisted stitches create chains that run all over, giving the impression of gilt jewelry and crowns. The yarn Anne dyed picks this up beautifully. The shimmer and the slight overdye create an impression of tarnished old gold.
The pattern instructions are written out, but include intricate charting, including wrong side cables over the heel flap.
