Product Details
This lace knit scarf was inspired by the Elizabeth Zimmerman pattern, EZ 100th Anniversary PI Shawl: Gull Wings. Worked with typical lace knitting stitches like k2tog, ssk and sk2p, this scarf is sure to become one of your favorites! Includes 2 sizes: small and large, for more styling and wearing options!
This pattern is both written and charted. The scarf starts at the center back with a provisional cast on and is worked to one end. Then the 2nd half is worked from the live stitches of the provisional cast on to the other end. The lace scarf is worked mostly in stockinette stitch with garter stitch on the left and right edges to help keep the scarf from curling.
I used 72 grams of yarn for each of these scarves: approx 275 yards for the small size (with Patons Kroy Socks) and 425 yards for the large size (with Patons Lace).
