Product Details
This pattern teaches you how to crochet the half double crochet (hdc) and use it to make a beautiful and useful washcloth or dishcloth. You can easily adjust the size to suit your preference. There is no multiple so simply chain the length you want then chain two more.
You will need roughly 5 yards of cotton or cotton blend yarn to make one washcloth so this is a great stashbuster if you have a lot of cotton yarn and no idea what to make.
Gauge isn't important. Simply play around with hook size until you find one that makes a fabric you like. I wanted one that had fairly good drape and wasn't too stiff. If you plan to use this for cleaning you may want a stiffer fabric, you may want to go down a hook size or two.
