Product Details
Bats have always been part of our spooky Halloween aesthetics; but what if after all this time being dragged into human celebrations, they want to throw a party of their own? This pattern will guide you through making a regular bat, as well as 8 different creepy-cute costumed ones - let the party begin!
This pattern is suitable for intermediate level crocheters, who are confident with basic stitches (ch, sl st, sc, hdc, dc, tr) and frequently used amigurumi techniques (invisible decrease, magic loop, working in FLO/BLO).
Surface crochet is used on the wings, and some of the costume designs require embroidered details (the pattern contains short tutorials for these techniques).
The pattern is written in English using US crochet terminology (UK/Aus equivalents provided). It contains many in-progress photos to help you crochet your bats, but I also included a text-only appendix for easy printing, if you prefer working from a printed pattern but want to save ink and paper.
