Product Details
This light, wearable wrap is in the shape of a V with the point cut off. It’s better than a rectangular stole for wrapping around your shoulders, yet easier than crescents or half circle shapes. It starts with a scalloped lace edging for the lower and side edges, then decreases are used to create 135-degree angles that make the shape. There are simple bands of different textures such as lace motifs, stockinette stitch, and garter stitch.
There are both written and charted instructions. 2 sizes are included: a shawlette size and a larger size.
Finished Size Approximately 40 (55) in 100 (140) cm along lower edge and 15 (17) in 37 (43) cm deep, after hard blocking. Small size is a small shawlette. Instructions for larger size are in parentheses.
Note: Three colors of yarn were used, about 20-25g of each color. You may also use a single color, or use a gradient yarn to work the shawl. Yarn quantities given are for a single skein being used.
