There can be nothing nicer than being given a freshly picked, handtied bouquet of flowers and with this crochet cushion the flowers will stay as fresh as the day they were given! This bouquet is full to bursting of Cosmos, Geums and meadow grasses.
This cushion pattern is perfect for all crochet abilities as the only stitches used are dc, tr, chain and magic ring. The cushion cover itself is made from three pieces, one for the front and two back pieces which overlap to make an envelope opening on the back of the cushion. Each of the pieces is worked in Moss stitch, a simple pattern of dc and chains, to create a lovely texture for the background of the cushion. The flowers are made separately and stitched in to place on to the finished cover. It really is as simple as that !
