Product Details
Near the beginning of autumn, the crops are at their fullest and are ready for the final harvest of the year, just before it gets too cold to go out and too cold to grow. At this time of the year, there is a phenomenon called the Harvest Moon: this full moon rises earlier and is brighter than usual. It used to help famers harvest the crops until late at night. The Harvest Moon shawl is an allegory to the abundance of crops at this time of the year. It is covered in bobbles that are worked in a contrasting color to completely stand out from the background. Paired with lace patterns and a little bit of stranded colorwork, this pattern will nourish your appetite for a fun knitting challenge.
