What you'll need
Product Details
This snuggly cowl is worked in Zitron Luv & Lee; the fire engine red of the yarn caught my attention and gave the pattern its name of heatwave. The cowl is crocheted in a flat rib which, when combined with the zig zag, gives a textured wave pattern.
The cowl matches the Heatwave Hat and Heatwave Mittens.
The pattern includes written instructions and an extensive technique section, with step-by-step photo tutorials for
front loop only slip stitch (F)
back loop only slip stitch (B)
invisible seam in flat ribbing
skill level: medium. If you already know how to slip stitch crochet: easy
yarn: 150 g of Zitron luv & lee, 100 % Merino extrafine, colorway 315
hook: 5 mm (US size H)
other notions: darning needle for seaming
The pattern is available in English (8 pages) and in German (8 pages).
Thanks to BethanD for the translation and to Waldmaus for proofreading! And special thanks to Sharon for the idea of the cowl!
