As a breast cancer survivor it was important to me to have an affordable and comfortable hat. I also didn't want my hat to scream "chemotherapy". The Heavenly Hat was born! For someone who doesn't suffer from hair loss, an H hook should be used. Machine washing is okay, but air dry only. A mannequin head is especially helpful for drying. Cover it with waxed paper, then lay the hat over it. The hat measures 22 1/2" around not counting the brim. I used Lily Sugar n Cream cotton yarn.

- I use Lily Sugar n Cream or Peaches n Cream for all my hats. A yarn needle is helpful for hiding the yarn ends.
