Product Details
This little family of hedgehogs are quite simple to make, unlike many small toys which can be a bit on the fiddly side. If you are a confident knitter you can vary your yarn and you can obtain a variety of results. By using an eyelash yarn for the body of the hedgehog you will get a much spikier version and you can stiffen the quills even further by giving the fur a bit of a spray with some strong hair spray. I have used a boucle style yarn and one ball will give you many, many little animals. If you can’t find a boucle yarn just look for an 8 ply in a brown variegated colour which is a bit uneven in texture. Any oatmeal shade in 4 ply will be fine for the face.
