Product Details
Helter Skelter is a versatile sock pattern recipe which leaves the type of heel and toe and also whether to knit toe up or cuff down to the knitter.
The pattern involves dropped and slipped stitches and also some simple cabling and is perfect for showing off the short colour changes in variegated yarns.
Helter Skelter is more of a recipe for a sock pattern than a full pattern. Knowledge of basic sock construction is necessary and the choice of whether to knit cuff down or toe up and which type of heel to use is left up to the knitter. The pattern is split into two sections – the leg (where the slip stitches swirl around the leg) and the foot where they form vertical lines.
Note that no sock size, yardage or needle size is included in this pattern: it is for stitch patterns only.
