High Road

Description: Worked in a luxurious merino/silk yarn, High Road grows organically from its center path. With simple, classic stitch patterns worked into an unusually constructed triangle shawl, High Road strikes the perfect balance between meditative process and interesting, wearable finished shawl.

Construction notes: High Road is worked in three sections, and each section is worked in a different direction. The center garter ridge section is worked first by casting on at the upper corner, working from side to side and turning the bottom corner with short rows, and casting off again at the opposite upper corner. The top stockinette section is picked up from the inner edges of the center garter ridge section and worked upwards, decreasing at the edges and center.
