I am sensitive to the charm of “authentic” wools, bearers of history and heritage. This is the case for the very beautiful Snaeldan 2ply, a wool spun in the Faroe Islands, by a family business.
With Hildur, I wanted a simple and feminine pattern that puts wool in the foreground. This cardigan is knitted in one piece, bottom to top and entirely seamless. The sleeves are shaped directly from the armholes with short rows. A small graphic pattern is added on the top of the garment to bring an original touch.
The sample was made with Snaeldan Yarns 2ply. A suggested substitute yarn is shown below.
