Product Details
The honeycomb cable is one of my favorite cable stitches and it is perfect for cup sleeves. The stitch pattern creates lots of little nooks for your fingers to better grip your beverage of choice. The sleeve fits take-out coffee cups, wide-mouth mason jars, and pint glasses. This pattern looks best with a solid or speckled yarn because of the detail in the cabling. The honeycomb cabling gets lost in more variegated colorways.
This is knit in the round from the top down. It is an intermediate level pattern due to the cabling. The pattern includes knits, purls, and cabling. Gauge is important for this pattern because the honeycomb cable is not as stretchy as the ribbing. The pattern includes written instructions and a chart for the honeycomb cable stitch. The pattern has been tech edited and test knit.
