Product Details
The basic honeycomb cable is used here to form 3 different patterns around the hat. Possum blend merino yarn which gives a slight halo and extra warmth was used for the sample, but you can use any wool or merino blend yarn (bear in mind that the characteristics & drape of the fabric may change depending on your choice).
Uses approx 200yd of 8ply DK wool or merino blend yarn. You will need 3.5mm and 4mm circular needles on 40cm cable, plus a longer cable or DPN for crown decreases; and a cable needle to work the pattern stitch.
Size: fits most teen/adult heads (for a larger fit, go up 1/2 a needle size for brim and main pattern). Fold the brim up for a cosy beanie or wear it unfolded for a slouch.
