Cute Capelet with Hood is worked in an Aran pattern and features two colours although it could be worked in one colour.
The PATTERN comes in 5 sizes to fit dress Sizes: 6-22 (UK), 4-20 (US), 34-50 (Eur), 7-23 (Jap).
Materials;
Patons Pompero shade 00049 Plum colour A, 7(8,9,9,10) x 50g balls Patons Pompero shade 00032 Ruby colour B, 3 x 50g balls. Patons Pompero has approx 75m per 50g ball. Cable needle 60 cm long 5.5 mm circular needle Pr no 5.5 mm needles Large button
To substitute use correct length of yarn with a knit tension of 16 sts and 22 rows to 10 cm worked on no 5.5 mm (US 9/UK, Canada & Australia no.5) needles. Most ball band labels give both the tension and the length of the yarn.
