Huggaluf

The finished toy size is anywhere between 15" - 26" (38 - 66cm) tall, depending on the yarn used. The Huggaluf pattern is fairly simple. The toy is knitted in the round, from bottom up. The written pattern provides detailed information row after row if needed. The photographs provide visual help while knitting the toy. This pattern requires very little sewing. I have used various soft and cuddly yarns in medium weight for my Huggalufs. For the body I used one ball of yarn or less than a ball in two colors for the striped Huggaluf. For the hat I used less than a ball of fluffy or furry yarn. You will need a small amount of red yarn for the lips, small amount of white yarn for the eye patch and black embroidery yarn for the eyes, or two funky looking buttons for the eyes.
