Hugs and Stitches Shawl

Hugs and Stitches is a triangular shawl worked outwards from the center of the top edge and embellished with beads along the bottom edge (which are optional).

The pattern is fully written out and American crochet terms are used throughout. The instructions are supported by a chart and a tutorial on adding beads.

Approximate Finished Dimensions (Blocked):

56"/142cm wingspan 28"/71cm spine

The size is easily adjustable.

Please note that the stitch pattern requires working in indicated chains, rather than chain spaces, which some crocheters may find challenging.

Materials and Tools:

• LitYarn: 100% linen, 656yd/600m per 100g/3.53oz, 1 skein in #16 orange (main color), 1 skein in #22 gray (contrasting color)
• Crochet hook in size B/2.25mm or size needed to obtain gauge for main body
• Crochet hook in size 1mm for beading (optional) 
• 53 seed beads in size 6.0 (optional) 
• Yarn needle for weaving in ends 
• Blocking equipment
