Product Details
The Humphrey Cardigan is the cardigan version of the Humphrey V-neck jumper.
Knitted seamlessly from the top down, the cardigan has an all-over textured pattern which adds interest and warmth to a classic shawl collar cardigan. There are two options for the collar, the original slimmer version and a wider classic version.
For the working of the yoke, the pattern contains both full written instructions and charts so you can choose whichever method you prefer to work from. There are no 'at the same time' instructions in this pattern.
When deciding which size to knit, please use the age ranges as a guide only. Choose a size based on chest measurement plus ease.
Techniques Used: Knitting in the round, maintaining pattern while shaping, directional increases and decreases in both knit and purl, picking up stitches, German short rows (these are explained in the abbreviation section). It will help to have knowledge of seamless garment construction.
