Product Details
The I love Setesdal Hat has its roots in the Norwegian heritage knitting traditions from Setesdal, updated for a modern slouchy look.
One of the independent Norwegian knitting designers had to settle out of court after being sued by a big Norwegian yarn company, claiming exclusive rights to stitch patterns 100s of years old.
Several independent Norwegian knitting designers offer patterns inspired by the rich Norwegian knitting heritage, campaigning for traditional knitting stitch patterns to be common property, free for all to use and modify.
The colorwork pattern is charted.
