Product Details
Ice Cream Socks is a top down pattern for a short ankle sock. A provisional cast-on allows the picot edge to be completed by knitting stitches together, to avoid having to finish this by sewing. The eyelet pattern is both simple to work and effective, looking just like cones of ice cream.
An Eye of the Partridge slip stitch patterned heel provides additional texture.
The pattern includes full written instructions as well as a chart for the lce Cream Pattern. A little more interesting than plain socks, with the opportunity to learn a couple of new skills.
If substituting yarn, the pattern works well in smooth sock yarns.
