Product Details
Unicorns are found in the folklore of countries around the world, from ancient Mesopotamia and Greece, to India and China. Unicorns are a symbol of purity, and their horns were believed to cure poisons. In the middle ages, cups made out of “unicorn” horns (but actually rhinoceros horn or narwhal tusk) were a hot commodity, as they were believed to protect the drinker from poisons. A winged unicorn is sometimes called an Alicorn or Pegacorn, and is traditionally a symbol of light (while a winged bull is a symbol of destruction). Rainbows are products of sunlight, so that must be why Isadora has so many beautiful colors!
