Product Details

One of my favourite things to doodle is little houses, so I decided to turn my doodles into little knits. Each house is quick to knit, and is a super project to use up odds and ends of yarn in your stash. The doors and windows are embroidered using Swiss darning (duplicate stitch) and charts of my designs are included for you to follow, or you create your own decorations to personalise your house. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the houses are knitted in cotton DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, decreases, and seaming to finish. The thatched cottage is 6.5cm wide x 5.5cm tall x 4cm deep, and the house is 5.5cm wide x 5.5cm tall x 4cm deep.
