Product Details
Jackson Square is a shallow, crescent-shaped shawl that's worked from the top down, beginning with a garter tab cast-on. The neat columns of twisted ribbing in the body flow into a lacy point-and-spear edging reminiscent of the wrought iron fences bordering Jackson Square in New Orleans' French Quarter.
Finished Size (Smallest): 49 inches (124.5 cm) along top edge, by 15 inches (38 cm) deep at center.
Jackson Square is part of a collaboration between independent dyer [French Market Fibers][1], designer [Beth Kling][2] and craftstress (you know, like a seamstress, only even craftier) [That Clever Clementine][3] (aka [MsVicki][4]).
The Jackson Square pattern will initially be offered exclusively as part of a limited-edition kit (which includes yarn, pattern and a project bag) sold by French Market Fibers. Orders open at 6 pm Eastern Standard Time (US/Canada) on 11/28/12. The ordering process will be somewhat non-traditional, so you may want to check out the details in Post 83
