Product Details
The top is crocheted with DMC Woolly yarns of 5 different colors using only chains and slip stitches. Increases are created thanks to lozenge cells formed with holes. The number of lozenges increases then decreases from row to row to form this fan effect. The top is crocheted from the center to the right, then to the left seamlessly, what permits us to create a symmetry and a V collar on the front and back. Then the sides are joined together (by crocheting or sewing) to form triangular openwork inserts with lozenge cells on both sides. A couple of rounds are added on the armholes for finishing. Fringes are created while crocheting the main piece.
Wool leftovers are used to felt a flower that embellishes the top but it is optional.
I designed this top for myself and it can easily suit for sizes S to L. Instructions are given to adapt it to your size. You can extend the top’s width by 4 cm approximatively for every next size adding one extra stripe on each side.
Different yarn can be used.
